Tenacious mortgage go-getter!

I’ve been doing mortgages for over 25 years and am passionate about helping others obtain The American Dream of homeownership. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics and a Master’s Degree in Project Management.

Everything someone experiences in life adds value and can be used in ways to help others, and I’ve had many experiences. I own and operate The American Dream Machine food truck as well as American Dream Home Team (our construction company). I’ve also taught college economics, sold insurance, done insurance inspections, and held a variety of other sales and management positions.

Letting the grass grow under my feet is not an option. I am always seeking new opportunities to add value to those I serve in the mortgage industry.

I’ve been married for over 30 years and am mother to three adult children, two dogs and many grand-dogs. I enjoy traveling, camping and experiencing new things with my husband and game nights with the kids and their spouses.

Our Loan Process...

LOAN APPLICATION & DOCUMENTATION

Provide basic info to us such as employment, income, and assets. A typical loan application takes 10-15 minutes by phone or online. Then, you will be given a secure place to upload a few requested documents.

PRE-APPROVAL

A loan pre-approval sets you up for a smooth home buying experience. At this stage, we review your information and documents to determine the best programs to fit your specific needs and present you with those options and give you your maximum preapproval amount or your desired preapproval amount if it is less than the max.

SHOP

Start working with a real estate agent and viewing homes. If you don’t already have an agent, please let us know right away so we can connect you with someone we have vetted and trust to take amazing care of you and educate you on that side of the homebuying journey.

LOAN PROCESSING

Once your offer is accepted and we have provided your loan disclosures, our processor will work to assemble all the necessary paperwork and details for the underwriter. Depending on how long your home shopping timeline was, we may need updated documents. It’s always a great idea to keep paystubs and bank statements in a safe place for quick access when needed.

UNDERWRITING

The underwriter will closely evaluate all the documentation in the loan package to ensure you meet the loan program requirements. They will work closely with our team to ensure we get anything remaining or answer questions they might have. Do not worry if the underwriter comes back and asks for a couple more documents – this is normal.

CLOSING

Once your loan is final approved, our closing department will work together with the title company to balance your final closing disclosure. Once that is done and we have reviewed and approved of the numbers, documents are drawn and sent to the title company for closing.
